So, I think I really like picking what is in my Birchbox every month. I do sometimes like the surprise sometimes, but it’s fun knowing what you’ll be getting. I know, I’m kinda bad like that, but I’ve always been like that since I was little. I really hate waiting for Christmas, because I like to plan what I’m going to do with my presents. 😛

One of the boxes you could choose from was the (red) box which has products from companies that make donations to charities. It was a box full of great things all for a great cause. This month’s Birchbox, I choose the Guest Editor box which is a “Happy Holiday Hacks” Box from BuzzFeed Life.
Lets get into the fun stuff, the products! 🙂 I’ll start with my favorite:
This candle is AMAZING! It is the smell of Christmas and winter time. I don’t have a place to put it just yet, but I fill go buy something so I can burn this scent of amazing.
Their hack for this product is: “Can’t fit a 9-foot Douglass Fir in your apartment? Fake it with this candle.”
This mask is pretty nice and relaxing. I’m not getting into the mask craze and I’m so glad because it makes your face feel amazing!
Their hack for this product is: “After too much eggnog, this mask detoxes your skin so you can wake up like Beyoncé.”
This stuff is made for nursing mom’s but it’s great to help chapped skin anywhere. I will be using this on my hands in the spots where I have bad cracking.
Their hack for this product is: “This stuff endows you with pillowy lips and super smooth cuticles. Take that winter!”
This stuff is pretty awesome! It really does curl your lashes! I could see a difference instantly. When I wore this, people actually commented on my eyelashes which is always nice. 🙂
Their hack for this product is: “So you have to put on makeup, clothes AND shoes? At least you can skip the eyelash curler.”
This dry shampoo is pretty great! I’ve never been a huge fan of dry shampoo but this stuff is so light and smells amazing!!
Their hack for this product is: “Whoever invented dry shampoo deserves a Nobel Prize, and this one volumes too.”
Was it worth it?
It was $10 for the box and actually got about $33 worth of products, so I would say YES, it was worth the value to get this box. I really enjoyed seeing different products in there, other than just beauty. Don’t get me wrong, I love beauty products, but other lifestyle produts are so much fun! And to top it off, you still get Birchbox points for reviewing which really makes this worth more.
