You know you are obsessed with Birchbox when you buy some of their branded apparel. Yep, I bought a pair of their Diamond Yoga Pants. They are super comfy! and I really like that the logo or band isn’t plastered all over it like some brands do. They have a cute Birchbox square on the back of the left leg. 🙂 I also bought a Spornette Air Motion Brush by Grange Snell to see if it’ll work with my tangled up hair. I seems to really work and get all the hairs that are waiting to shed out of there. I haven’t used it with wet hair yet, but I really like it with my dry hair.
Since those two items were over $50, I was able to get the special edition Birchbox Birthday Box. Yes, September is my birthday month but it’s also the birthday month of Birchbox. They are 4 years old this month! It was a box with 4 secrete products and this is what I got in it.
I know I’m getting to this a little late, but it’s better late than never. 🙂 This month I received my Ipsy Glam Bag first then a week later, I received my Birchbox. The first review I give will always be the one that I got in the mail first. Before I get into the review, Here is a little about each subscription:
Ipsy Glam Bag is a monthly subscription service where you receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using. All for only $10 a month.
Birchbox is another monthly subscription service where you receive 4–5 personalized beauty and lifestyle samples that have been tailored to your profile. You’ll get to try products from niche brands, up-and-coming lines, and everything in between. New to Birchbox, is they are now letting you choose 1 sample for your box so you have more control. They are also doing “deluxe add-ons” that you can tack on to your box for a few extra dollars.

This last week, I received my second #voxbox from Influenster. I was SO excited! I love being able to review products because most of the time I haven’t tried them. I’m a person who will buy something because it’s new or the packaging looks great, so I would say I am a perfect candidate to review new and upcoming products.
Fist off, Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influensters meet here to learn about new products from our favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives.
Now that I’ve told you a little about them, I’ll give a review of each product that I received in the box. To view my video review, scroll to the bottom of this post.
Everyone is a little nosey, right? Especially when it comes to what is in something’s makeup bag. Personally, I LOVE the ‘what’s in my…?’ videos or blog posts, and lately, it seems like I keep getting asked what kind of makeup I have on. This may look like a lot of makeup and products to some people, but I only wear a “full face” about once or twice a week. Since I work from home, I don’t need to wear this all the time, but when I do, these are things that I love to use.
I got my very first VoxBox from Influenster about 2 weeks ago. I was so excited to have been selected. I love being a person that people can go to for reviews or tips on products. I’ve been reviewing items online for years and just found out about Influenster.
