So last month I decided to stop my subscription with Ipsy to try something new and I decided on Nature Box. Some of my friends have tried it and said it was okay so I had to give it a try myself. What attracted me most to it was that it’s very customizable and a good value. Another neat thing is that they only use natural ingredients. If you avoid certain foods in your diet, you will love that you can preview the ingredients before you pick snacks and search for snacks that follow your dietary needs before you pick your 5 for the month (or you can be surprised). And I have to mention that the sized are VERY generous! So generous, that most of the bags have a serving size of 3-4. It’s so worth the 19.95 cost.
Last night was yet another great night. A few of the North Iowa bloggers got together to have a fall birthday bash. I saw a few because our group is growing so much! I love that there are so many people in the north Iowa area who all share a passion for the same thing, yet we’re all so different! I will have to create a list of all the North Iowa Bloggers so I can link to the page with all their links. 🙂
So, I’m trying this new thing, where I post a favorite recipe of mine every Friday and I’m going to call it, “Foodie Friday“. I would like to classify myself as an aspiring foodie since I am no gourmet chef and I don’t have much time to travel, this will be my chance to express my inner food-loving self. 🙂 Along with the recipe, I will also share a little story about why I love the recipe.
For my first ever Foodie Friday, I am going to share my recipe for Mini Stuffed Pumpkins since I’ll be visiting Enchanted Acres pumpkin patch with a few of the North Iowa Bloggers today. We are in for a fun day of pumpkin crafts and good company.
For a few months now, I have been contemplating starting a blog and today, I took that leap. It sure is an adrenaline rush! The reason I started this blog is because (I think) I have so much to share and I figured this would be the best platform for me to do so. So let’s get this started.
